Club Championship day 1. Played around with Matt and Andy. Didn't hit too many good shots, but kept focused on my pre-shot routine, and routine between shots. Was very happy with my score when I came in.

7iron
10th hole, wind strong behind. 160 to the front. Took a 7iron knowing it'd land before and hopefully roll up. Absolutely nailed it, with a bit of draw and finished just on fringe left of the flag in a putting position.

54 degree
7th hole, hit a great tee shot leaving me 60 yards to front. Hit 54 degree at 2/3 power as I knew this would carry it exactly 60 yards. Pitched just off at front and rolled up to within 1 foot! Brilliant shot and made birdie putt!

8 iron
16th hole, just through the fairway, ball sitting up lovely but above feet. Also wind against and blowing slightly right to left - I knew from lie it would turn over, so I set up club and took my stance aiming right. Swung gently as I knew 8 iron was more than enough to get me there and hit it great. Finished pin high 8 feet from flag
